  • consider purchasing a tee or green pennant, or even a sponsorship!

  • 1:00 pm shotgun start with amazing prizes
  • pray for sun
  • It's a fine time to help put a deserving local family into a simple, decent home

    HOUSATONIC HABITAT
    HAS MOVED!

For 7 years now, Housatonic Habitat has been shoehorned into an underground office suite beneath Danbury's North Street Plaza. The office was nice enough...but far too small for our myriad volunteers and meetings, and unable to accommodate growth.

But now, we can grow, because we're moving, as of April 1, to 90 Shelter Rock Road ...still in Danbury, but a much larger space -- large enough to hold volunteer-training workshops, off-site construction projects, and even a ReStore for the donation and sale of "gently used" construction and home products.

So stand by for more information, as we "ramp up" for an even more home building in 2009! And yes, drop by once we're settled, and see how you can make the Danbury area a better place to live for everyone....

The HHFH 'Big Picture' in Pictures

Want a more detailed, more graphic understanding of Housatonic Habitat's work? Then watch our new PowerPoint slideshow, which illustrates, in photos and 'factoids,' why we do what we do. Download it - - 8MB, not too big -- by clicking on the HHFH logo (the small red house) you'll find on every webpage, or the narrative link on the About Us page. No PowerPoint? Then download Open Office -- an excellent, complete, freeware MS Office equivalent available at http://www.openoffice.org.
